AN ELIPTICAL SALOON TABLE

Commissioned for Royalty and designed by Steve Dalzell, Yacht Designer

Constructed from a combination of solid and veneered Swietenia Mahogany Oyster veneers, the dorsal surface and pedestal feature a 24 segment radiating design with a center inlay of quartered Satinwood and Madrona Burl in a scalloped fan design. A Corinthian influenced pedestal, with a unique revolving/locking mechanism to allow table rotation and removal from the Yachts main saloon.

A specialist finish of high lustre polyurethane was applied in several coats to withstand the rigors of ocean climate. Solid brass handles were gilt in 24 karat gold for the same reason.
