George 1st Period Burl Elm Chest on Stand
A GEORGE 1ST PERIOD BURL ELM CHEST ON STAND circa 1725
Commissioned by Lord Falmouth (featured in Country Life Magazine)
Copied from a photograph only this piece is made from solid Oak and veneered with Burl Elm and stands on solid Burl Elm legs. The graduating hand dovetailed drawers are constructed from solid Oak and the drawer fronts are inlaid with a discreet inlay of figured Elm. The finely cast brass handles are exact copies of the originals and are hand made using the lost wax process.
